In the past, many of you have asked us what you could do to help. Well, we sure have some opportunities for you!! We are always soliciting volunteers to help with responsibilities for the following tasks. Let us know if you would be willing to volunteer as a club, a group or individually. We will have short volunteer training sessions on the mountain (check at the Info Booth for times & info) to place you where most needed and familiarize you with our guidelines.
- Parking Layout
- Loading/Unloading of Equipment
- Structure and Equipment Setup
- Parking Teams
- Area Sweep -Clean Up after the event on Sunday
These are just a few examples of ways that you can help the Table Mountain Star Party.
Other support tasks will become evident as planning for this years event progresses.
Check the volunteer box on your registration form to let us know you wish to help. Once on the mountain, we will hold short information training sessions at the Info Booth. We will use this opportunity to familiarize and train you with the "volunteer needs" of that day as well as upcoming days. It is very difficult for us to find you among the masses on the mountain, so please come and find us, in the booth, at these or any other times. All attendees that volunteer a minimum of four hours of their time will receive a special gift.
Further, all volunteers are eligible to enter the Volunteers Only Door Prize Drawing!!
