Observer's Challenge

Returning by popular demand, the Observer's Challenge program will be back in 2008.

The Observer's Challenge was a huge success in it's inaugural year.  This is definitely a program that we will be bringing back and expanding upon.  The list that was used in 2007 will remain intact for future years.  This is the first award in what is to become a collection of lists.  If you did not complete the list, you can continue next year and still obtain the same pin that was issued in 2007.

We will continue to introduce a new observing list each year and you will have the option of completing any or all of the lists available that year to receive the corresponding lapel pin award.

Here are the two lists that will be available during the 2008 Star Party.

There was a modification made to the 2008 list to correct RA and DEC values.  You may want to print out the modified list (indicated as such in upper right corner).  The modified lists will be available on site.

We had 33 individuals that completed the list during the inaugural year.
